WELCOME TO COMIC UNKNOWN'S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!

We return today with a very interesting one shot that has not only a unique art style, but a distinct writing style as well. We enter the world of Ultra Minion. Written by Lukasz Kowalczuk and art by Macie Czapiewski, Ultra Minion the silent black and white apocalyptic world where minions are kept captive by an evil overlord and are used as test subjects for their heinous research and bidding. It wasn't until one of the minions was used in one of the experiments and an accident occurred causing him to transform into the Ultra Minion and begin to wreak havoc onto his tyrants. A great battle ensues and many lives were lost on both sides which finally leads to the ultimate fight between Ultra Minion and the Overlord. The book does a beautiful job narrating but instead of with dialogue, the book utilizes with movement of the characters and body language to portray the narrative. 

Czapiewski and Kowalczuk have successfully created a comic that can be understood in any language. The subtle moments throughout the panels and pages could be missed out at first glance but the amount of work and precision the creative team had to input to Ultra Minion reaches a level professionalism that is incomparable. Ultra Minion is a straightforward science fiction story of a great battle between the minions and the overlord and steadily paces throughout the pages. Ultra Minions definitely seems like a difficult comic to make but it clearly paid off at the end. It is an amazing story told through a different yet assertive way of story telling. Welcome back to another chapter of Chem 19 with Comic Unknown! We return to the series at issue seven and see that Dr. Wagner is still tied up and held captive by the Cartel. Dr. Wagner needs to figure out what he can do to escape but there was an unlikely person to help him. With the help of Donkey and his addiction to the drug, Donkey managed to sneak into the building and he begins his search. Uncertain whether we wants to find the drug more or the doctor himself, Donkey finds the mother load! After a few hurdles Donkey had to overcome, he managed to stumble upon Dr. Wagner.  Now it is time for them to escape and they are facing obstacles to be home free. We have been following Dr. Wagner's unfortunate adventure for some time now and we have been hooked on what to expect. While the story has had seven issues to develop, we are still running through this dystopia to find the cure to save Dr. Wagner's daughter. Even though Vivian wasn't seen in this issue, it puts an interesting question into perspective: how much time does she have left?

Bang! Bang!

Jason has gone through hell and back to find any amount of dosage of the deadly drug for his daughter and now needs to find a way to escape the city. Having issue seven come to an end, we continue to ponder on how Dr. Wagner will return to his daughter and whether will he find a cure not just use the drug to prolong death. Kevin Truglio and Przemyslaw R Dedelis has formed the degraded world of Chem 19 and has allowed us to follow a father and his unstoppable will to do anything he can to save his daughter. We enter the world of Armor-I by following the new kid to the school Jason King. Being the new kid at school can be hard sometimes. You would have to make new friends, watch out for the jerks and find and maintain a status quo. On Jason King's first day he managed to clash with  the school jocks who were bullying a student. After the altercation, he finds out those same jocks will be his teammates on the school's football team. Thinking that he will settle their differences, the jocks invite him to hang out in the woods after football practice. Meanwhile, in a far away galaxy, a scientist Kizan is on the run from Lord Novaden. Kizan is carrying a weapon that can tip the scales of a galactic war to their favor. However, the scientist's ship was shot down and crashed landed on Earth in a wooded area.  After football practice, the jocks drove Jason to the secret spot in the woods to what he believes is to make amends. Unfortunately, they ditched him in the forest to fend for himself and find his way out. His life soon intersects wth Kizan as he stumbles upon Kizan's ship. What will be in store for Jason King now that he crossed paths with Kizan? With the mysteries surrounding the origin of Kizan and the secret weapon, Marcel Dupree leaves the story where it is at to catch our eye and give a little tease.

Armor I Issue 1 has a solid story somewhat similar to how Hal Jordan obtained his ring. Jason King has already been seen fighting for the little guys and we hope for a great superhero comic since he finds a game-changing weapon to whoever possess it. We see by the end of the issue that  the character open to possibilities he would never have expected. We are hopeful to see what history Kizan and Lord Novaden has had, let alone more information on this great war going on. Carlos Trigo and Andrea Celestini gives the art style for this comic a very polished and playful style like a cartoon animation you watch every Saturday morning. The comic as a whole is very compelling and leaves the reader wondering about King's future. As an added bonus, there is an additional comic at the very end called Baranzu about a family visiting Japan with kids being kids, running around causing chaos and accidentally releasing a spirit. What will happen to family now that the spirit has been released? Overall this comic has great stories to offer accompanied with awesome art and we definitely hope to see more from these creators.
