We open ourselves to an unusual position and encounter a comic like no other. Unlike the usual style and genre in the comic book world, we have fallen into the experience of Fetish Babies Issue One. In a journey of self-discovery, Fetish Babies follows the life of Barbara, a seventeen-year-old who begins to recognize her desire for the world of fetishes. Originally from a small town where anything remotely entertaining is shunned upon, Barbara devised a plan to make her way to where she believes she can explore her needs: New York City. Her motivation soon finds success as she obtains a scholarship to Columbia University in NYC and enrolls to study Behavioral Sciences. Her conquest to obtain her mischievous dream arises as she proceeds to buy her first fetish outfit and make her way to a party at Paddles, a dungeon club where the like-minded people can enjoy their time. Is Barbara prepared to jump into a world she has only dreamed of and take it by the straps or is she in over her head and unready for it?
Created by both Rob and Alyssa Andersin, Fetish Babies Issue One was successfully funded on Kickstarter on February 14th, 2017. Fetish Babies is an all-out unique experience, beginning with the book's format. The tale is told as a blog entry with the narrative on one page and the artwork on the other. As readers witness Barbara unraveling her newly found encounter, one is eager to know what happens next. Concluding with a cliffhanger, the creators leave the readers wanting more. Regardless whether the audience is interested into fetishes, BDSM, or anything related, one can truly appreciate the art by Satine Zillah as it brings the story to life. Fetish Babies consists of 32 pages, replacing the average comic page size with a letter-sized form and is available both digitally and physically (4.99 and 10.00 respectively). Be part of the Fetish Babies experience as the second issue's Kickstarter is currently live and creeping to their goal. Comic Unknown re-enters the world of Rapid-Eye as we connect into the wave link of Issue Two. We follow CIA Operative Eddie Phillips as he begins to seek help for his recent interactions with those using the Access Trance Machine. With almost nowhere else to hide or find help, he locates Dr. Ella Krupke in hopes to find a solution to his problems. Rapid Eye Issue Two follows its predecessor and becomes the must-read of the stack. In a world where someone can kill you in your dreams, where can one be truly safe? Eddie's debacle continues to haunt him as he is clearly a target by the same agency he works for. How far will they be willing to go to reach him and permanently make him quiet?
Issue two's creativity and design of the story holds no bounds and lets any idea run free and go into full gear. Its complimentary art style stays true to its readers and does not dwindle away its quality. Rapid Eye Issue Two was successfully funded on Kickstarter on August 27, 2017, and created by Bobby Torres with Anthony Rodriguez and Bobby as the writers, Rowel Roque as the Artist, Ronson Edulan as the Colorist, Dave Sharpe as the Letterer/Designer and both Jack Garcia and Jason Bennett as the Editors. DISEMBOWLED EARTH
An unknown pathogen was unleashed to the world. Governments crumble, society collapsed and military powerhouses were wiped out. This biological attack selectively aimed for all males, causing an unforeseen destruction that spread in less than 24 hours. Comic Unknown enters the world of Under the Flesh. Hunkered down in a library made of brick and high windows, a small group of survivors is carefully treading through this outbreak. Within the group is a man named Ruben, a Lieutenant that was undergoing nanobot experimentation that fights viruses, boost strength, and enhances cognition. Fortunately for him, this experiment is what allows him to survive the infection even after being bitten. What will this group experience and what decisions must they have in order to survive.
Under The Flesh issue one is the source of a nail and flesh biting series. It is the comic equivalence to Dawn of the Dead's mall, except in a library. The issue begins to develop the characters as they are introduced and carefully show the reader their features or traits. Written and created by Gilbert Deltrez, the narrative is excellently written as it intensifies the reader's imagination to the character's situation and places the reader peering out the library's window and gawking out in this zombie-filled environment. The art, done by J. L. Giles, clearly shows the disorder in this newly unwanted life as it crawls and climbs out of the pages. The colors compliment the story's outbreak as it adds the weight to all of this chaos. UTF is an awesome zombie comic that is full of action. Under The Flesh issue one was successfully Kickstarted back on August 3, 2014 and is currently available for $0.99 on Comixology.
